Fun and Learn After School Program

Fun and Learn supports five to 13-year-olds in their efforts to obtain their academic goals through homework assistance in math, science, English, writing and computer skills.  Recreational activities including field trips, guest speakers, and cultural enrichment activities emphasize positive values and equip students with urban living skills.  Fun and Learn also participates in the Asset Building Program.

The program is offered at no charge at Delavan/Grider Community Center, Monday through Friday, 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Immunization records and a copy of the student's last report card are required for registration.

Summer Fun Days

An exciting and educational summer program for youngsters ages five to 13 that encompasses a continuity of learning by combining academic exercises and enrichment activities.  Breakfast, lunch and snacks are included. Activities include reading and math exercises each morning, games, educational workshops, enrichment activities and field trips.                                                                                                                                                   

Looking for a safe, affordable and fun place for your child to spend his/her summer? Call for information regarding fees and registration.  Summer Fun Days is located at Delavan/Grider Community Center and runs from July through August, Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
