Held every September, the Moot Senior Citizen Awards annually honors 10 outstanding members of the BFNC Moot Senior Center.

To cap-off the festive evening, the BFNC also presents its employee of the year award and a community service award to a local individual or organization.

Volunteers are always needed to help sell souvenir journal ads, sell tickets, and to help plan the evening. Entertainers are also encouraged to donate their time.

This year, the Moot Senior Awards dinner will be held from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the New Golden Nugget, 2046 Fillmore Ave, Buffalo.

It costs $23.00 per person. Call the Moot Center at 882-4637 for tickets.
