WELCOME TO BFNC

Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC)was founded from the 1981 merger of Westminster Community House and Neighborhood House Association-two settlement houses formed in the 1890s to help immigrant populations rise above the challenges of urban poverty.

As a non-for-profit agency, BFNC is committed to helping anyone in Western New York. We are particularly proud of our expertise in serving persons of color, the economically disadvantaged and persons with serious and persistent mental illness in our community.

We are commited to helping anyone to "prepare, equip and empower individuals to address life management issues and to improve the quality of life in their communities."
